The daily activities of the Theur Temple
Darshan Timings:
5:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. (No entry is permitted in temple during 10 PM to 5 AM)
Daily Programs:
Morning | 5:00 A.M.- Waking up of great god, First Prakshalana Pooja (divine cleansing pooja) |
Morning | 7:30 A.M.- Sodashopachara Pooja, Panchasukta |
Afternoon | 12:00 Noon.- Panchopachara Pooja (divine cleansing pooja), Mahanaivedya |
Evening | 8:30 P.M.- Panchopachara Pooja, Naivedya (Milk rice) |
Facilities for the devotees:
Abhishek:
At every month on the day of Chaturthi abhisheka is performed by the Chinchwad Deosthan Trust. Devotees can make donations for abhisheka in the office and collect receipt. The Prasad is sent by post to the devotees.
Prasada:
The temple offers Cashewnuts, Mango modaks and Groundnut Laddus as prasada
Mahaprasada:
The offers Mahaprasada (Lunch) for all the devotees from 12 A.M. to 2 P.M. This facility is provided by the Chinchwad Deosthana. Mahaprasada (Dinner) facility is not available at evening time.
Accommodation:
The Deosthana’s Bhakta Niwas is well equipped with 9 double rooms with attached toilets. Bhakta Niwas Timing are evening 7 pm till morning 7 am. No booking is made over a phone, or by mailing to the Deosthana.
Other facilities:
Drinking Water facility is available in the premises of the Temple. Using the modern technology pure drinking water is provided through a token machine. In the machine if a rupee is inserted, it gives out a bottle of pure drinking water.
Donation:
Donations are accepted in the form of money, food materials etc. Devotee can donate Silver and gold articles at Deosthan Trust office. The donors are advised to collect receipt from the office for all types of donations.
Annadana Fund:
Special donations for Anna-dana can be made at Deosthan Trust office in form of Food grains, Material or in the form of money. The donors are advised to collect receipt from the office for his donations.
